I woke up with seeing the sunrise – on the picture in my todays door of the adventskalender. The real sun is hidden somewhere and we really did not see her since days. Almost like the goats, who also were not at home this morning when i wanted to milk them. I kept on calling them but then gave up and started fixing a fence. But of course, when i just was up the hill with the tools to fix it, it started to rain.
At least this was reason for the goats to come home so i finally could milk them. Since clarissa, an other german volunteer, also wants to learn how to milk the cows, i milk the goats more often now. there are 8 grown up goats. we milk them by hand and on good days we get about one liter of milk of every goat. it is not easy to milk by hand and will take me some time till i am able to milk quickly and with out letting milk drop everywhere.
